A weekend in the city
Is going out of town a better way to enjoy the weekend? We don’t think so! In the city, there is a lot of opportunities that allow us to relax, to enjoy the moment and the nice weather.
M9-4 condominiums project is located in Old Montreal. Its location allows residents to enjoy the surrounding activities without necessarily needing to take their car and travel accross the bridge. It is possible for them to escape into stores and restaurants in the area, in addition to enjoy the parks along the Lachine Canal.
So, close to the project, the Peel Basin area is booming. In recent years, restaurants and stores open one after the other. It’s the case of La Bête à pain, a new bakery and coffee that opened a few weeks ago and is already appreciated. Croissants, pastries, sandwiches and coffee, La Bête à pain offers a tasty menu that can be enjoy on site or to go.

You want to stay in town for the weekend? Saturday morning, go to the bakery to pick up croissants, pastries and coffee, and walk through the Peel Basin to sit and enjoy your breakfast. You will have the opportunity to admire the unique landscape that emerges: Lachine Canal, popular building of Farine Five Roses, the skyscrapers and the trains going in and out of the city.

Then, go to the new Marché des Éclusiers. This Summer, from May 1st to November 30th, at the Maison des Écluses near McGill entrance, there will be a wide variety of merchants including: Lawrence Butcher, local fruits and vegetables booth, Volcanic Organic Café, Eileen – a seafood booth from sustainable fishing, and much more. In addition of getting your groceries for dinner, you can enjoy spirits, fresh juice and wine. What a wonderful afternoon in the Old Port!

At the M9-4 Condominiums, it’s easy to appreciate everyday. Need more info on the project, feel free to contact us or visit our website.
