On January 28, an auction was held at Sales Gallery of Beaumont NDG condominium project. With the presence and participation of approximatively 40 people at this auction, the event raised an amount of $ 2,000. DevMcGill raised the amount mentioned to award a total of $ 5,000 to the YMCA Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Ross Cecile and Oksana Korobeynikova from the YMCA organization were present at the event to take possession of the check.

“This initiative, in conjunction with the Beaumont NDG condominium project, is part of DevMcGill’s values. Alike DevMcGill, YMCA is helping to build strong, healthy, and vibrant neighborhoods where generations coexist and engage.” adds Tina Dostie, Marketing Director at DevMcGill.

For this event, Martin Bruneau auctioneer from Encan Bruneau et Fils, invited the participants to bet on bricks associated with several prizes from local merchants including an extraordinary 1-year grocery prize at IGA! With the involvement of Sobeys in the Beaumont project, DevMcGill continues to encourage healthy lifestyles.

A participant who wishes to remain anonymous won the 1-year grocery at IGA grand prize. She decided to give back her prize to YMCA NDG – in order to help young people in the neighborhood. Her gesture got the crowd deeply moved!
