Whether for couples, families or friends, Montreal is bustling with fall activities that are guaranteed to bring loads of fun. Don’t mind the falling temperatures—slip on your jacket, get out, and enjoy the fall city pleasures. Here are three magical activities to discover and rediscover over the coming weeks.
From September 2nd to October 31st, at dusk, step into the Chinese and Japanese gardens at the Montreal Botanical Garden and be amazed as your surroundings are lit up by lanterns. People of all ages are invited to venture through the trails and discover multicoloured lanterns, each with their own wonderful story to tell. Wonder and amazement guaranteed!

From September 30th to October 31st, pumpkins take over the Montreal Botanical Garden. Visit the pumpkin-decorating contest and discover some 800 pumpkins and gourds decorated by students and visitors. What’s more, catch one of the shows or take part in the organized games. It’s the perfect outing to get you into the festive, fall spirit.

Every Saturday until October 22, experience a guided tour through Old Montreal and discover the legends, grim stories, criminal intrigues, mysteries and secrets that haunt its streets and dark corners. Ghosts is a theatrical outing that is both entertaining and captivating for all age groups.

Whether fall is your favourite season or not, take the time to enjoy it and discover new parts of your city.
