Beaumont – Info-Work No 11 – August 23, 2019

Construction of the Beaumont project is nearing completion. The first condos are scheduled to be delivered in the fall of 2019, and the grocery store will open next spring.

 

Work to come in the next months

Exterior cladding is currently under way and the masonry will be completed at the end of next week. The metal cladding on both residential towers, the installation of the railings, and the landscaping on the garden floor will be completed at the end of October. The garden floor roofing began last week and will be completed in mid-October. The tracing of the units is complete, the kitchens are installed up to the 6th floor, the laying of the wooden floors in the units of the 3rd floor has begun and will continue in the coming months.

 

The first move ins will begin at the end of September and continue until the end of January. The development of the food market will begin this fall and continue in the first quarter of 2020.

 

From now until the end of the year, it should be noted that the contractor will continue to use a portion of the public realm (street and sidewalk) on the north side of Côte-Saint-Luc Road, between Earnscliffe and Clanranald avenues for various deliveries. We remind you to always pay attention to the signage displayed around the site during the work and to use detours designed for your safety. Furthermore, the redevelopment of the two consecutive intersections on Côte-Saint-Luc road (Girouard and Clanranald) will be carried out by the borough (traffic lights, sidewalk, cart entrance) from August 26 to September 9, and the sidewalks will be redone by the end of the year.

 

 

Schedule of work reminder

Most of the work will be done Monday to Friday between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Recently, work has begun earlier causing nuisance to the neighborhood. We reiterated to the contractor responsible for the site the importance of complying with municipal regulations, which allow work to be carried out every day from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
