Celebrating Halloween
Halloween isn’t quite the same in a condo. No front porch to greet the little monsters, superheros and witches that will be trick-or-treating down the streets as sun sets on October 31st. Without transforming your condo into a house of horrors, it’s possible to decorate your home with a few pieces that will create a Halloween mood and please the little ones. Here are a few tips for celebrating Halloween.
First, take time to tell your neighbours that you will be handing out candy during the evening and decorate your front door. Choose decorations that hang directly above your door so you don’t clutter up the hallway and bother your next-door neighbours. Opt for a nice wreath, spider webs or orange streamers. Give it some punch, but keep it simple!

Do you want your outside neighbours to get in on the fun? Why not take a few minutes to decorate your balcony. With all your summer stuff put away, your balcony is empty and just begging for decorations. Add pumpkins, skeletons, bats, ghosts, witches or string lights. Passersby are sure to notice! You could even hold a competition with your neighbours!

Lastly, you don’t feel like handing out candy, but you would still like to celebrate with friends or family? Add a few items to your current decor: pumpkins, witch hats, brooms, skeletons, etc.

Over the next weeks, let your imagination run wild and enjoy the festivities!
