Celebrating our National Holiday!
What better reason to get out and celebrate than Montreal’s Fête nationale du Québec. Performances, events and parades await throughout the city for all to enjoy. Discover the complete schedule of events on the website, but let us first point out some of the events that are of special interest to us.
Neighbourhood Celebrations
In NDG, festivities will be held at Benny Park on June 24. Come enjoy family activities, magic shows, social dancing and outdoor movies.
Several events are also organized in the South West. On June 23, make your way to Atwater Market, along the Lachine Canal, for musical performances by Louis-Philippe Gingras, Les hôtesses d’Hilaire and Lucien Francoeur. On June 24, the celebrations move to Hibernia Park with musical performances by Annie Comtois and Tropic Ambiance that are sure to liven your senses.
In Villeray, festivities will be in full swing on June 23 and 24. On Henri-Julien, at the corner of De Castelnau and mere steps away from our Castelnau and Ateliers Castelnau projets, listen to the music of Xavier Caféïne, Kizaba, Projet D and Dumas, and discover several stands featuring kids entertainment.
Montreal Celebrates
For those of you who are in the festive spirit and looking for a spectacular show, don’t miss the traditional Grand spectacle de Montreal on June 23 in the heart of the Quartier des spectacles. Artists such as Guillaume Lemay-Thivierge, Claude Dubois, Charlotte Cardin, La Bronze and Alaclair Ensemble will have you celebrating the night away.
To top it off, young and old alike will be dazzled by Montreal’s Défilé de la Fête nationale. This can’t-miss parade will hit Saint-Denis Street on June 24, making its way from Boucher Street to De Rigaud Street.
Please note that our administrative offices will be closed Friday, June 23, and our sales offices will be closed Saturday, June 24. Do like DevMcGill—take advantage of the long weekend to get out and enjoy the festivities, and visit our website to learn more about our projects.
