Discover Mile-Ex

The weather is always pleasant in September. Neither hot nor cold, it’s perfect for an adventure in the neighborhood and discovering new hot spots. Mile-Ex is a borough located between the Canadian Pacific Railway in the West, Little Italy in the East, Beaubien Street in the South and Jean-Talon Street in the North. It’s a mysterious district which has been rejuvenated in the past few years.

Discovering the neighborhood involves visiting restaurants and bars inevitably. To start your day, take a walk to Dinette Triple Crown, a restaurant serving typical Southern American cuisine. Absolutely delightful! Especially because the staff serves your meal in a pretty basket with ustensils so you can improvise a picnic in a park of Little Italy. Don’t forget your sweater!

Next you must go to Brasserie Harricana on Jean-Talon Street for a tasting of their excellent microbrewery beers. The decor will make you feel at home in a relax atmosphere where the stadium benches are installed on the terrace: a welcoming cozy bar.. It’s worth the visit!

Why not finish your day at Mile-Ex. I’m talking about the restaurant this time, not the neighborhood.  You can find catering services and one of the best ice cream shop (Spoum) at Mile-Ex restaurant. It will make you appreciate the nearby even more. In this emblematic local restaurant, you will find a warm atmosphere, comfort foods and a superb wine menu. What more could you ask for?
