The warm weather of summer is a good time to start (or restart) running. In the city, there are many inspiring places, like the Lachine Canal Park located near the Avenue 32 condominiums project.
The trail that border the canal allows runners to run 15 km in a very urban environment, without running on sidewalks and stopping at the multiple traffic lights. The trail is flat and allows beginners to improve their performance without necessarily being discouraged. The beauty of the surroundings is inspiring and the proximity with the river brings a cool breeze during hottest days.
With the popularity of running, Montreal makes no exception. Several races are held in the city this Summer. Whether it is small or large races, runners will be happy! Let us present you a few of them. We are pretty sure that you will want to lace up your running shoes, get out of your condo and run along the canal. Be ready!
