Shop Montreal’s Top Crafts At Marché Créatif Coming Soon To Mile-Ex
The holiday season is just around the corner, which means it’s time to start your shopping! Instead of heading to the department stores for a generic gift, we invite you to explore DevMcGill’s unique and charming Marché Créatif on December 1st, 2018.
This event will take place at the Ateliers Castelnau sales office from noon until 5 pm at 65 Rue de Castelnau Ouest, which is in the heart of the Mile-Ex neighbourhood. Here are a few artisans that will be present.
Moali
Combat frizz and damage during the winter months by utilizing Moali hair oil, which is silicone-free and made right here in Montreal. The oils are sold either as a deep conditioning treatment, a pre-shampoo balm, or a leave-in conditioner serum. It’s an excellent gift for those with textured, damaged or colour-treated hair, especially during the bitter winter months.

If you’re not a fan of hair oils, the brand also sells handmade headbands! These cute accessories serve as a great fashion statement and compliment any outfit.
Be U Cosmétiques
Next up on the list, we have Be U Cosmétiques – a local brand that focuses on creating moisturizers that are vegan and child-friendly. Crafted and conceptualized here in the city, this skincare line is a great gift for those suffering from dry skin.

If you’ve tried all the drugstore lotions and nothing seems to work, we highly recommend buying a tub of their rich cream. You can even work with the owners of the brand to create a unique skincare regime tailored to your needs.
French Fiasco
Moving away from beauty products, a great gift for the holiday season includes a piece of jewellery from French Fiasco. This popular Montreal brand has a strong Instagram following and designs pieces made for millennials living in the digital era. Their articles include sunglasses, earrings, necklaces, and rings that really stand out.

Zympala
Inspired by “Africa’s cultural, historical, social, and geographical wealth,” Zympala is a unique fashion brand based in Montreal that creates both menswear and women’s clothing. Mireille Mpere designs every piece, with comfort and a range of body types in mind. So if you’re looking for the perfect outfit for your next holiday party, be sure to check out Zympala’s designs at the Marché Créatif.

About The Ateliers Castelnau Project
As mentioned earlier, the Marché Créatif will take place at the Ateliers Castelnau sales office, located in the Mile-Ex neighbourhood. This district has undergone a dramatic transformation over the last decade, as several factories and warehouses have been converted into posh condo projects.
The Ateliers Castelnau project benefits from its proximity to three metro stations (de Castelnau, Jean-Talon, and Parc) and is a five-minute walk to the Jean-Talon market. This iconic institution boasts a number of restaurants, cafes, and sells fresh fruits and vegetables throughout the year. Jarry Park is also nearby, where residents of the condo project can enjoy the gorgeous green space during the warm summer months.
If you’re interested in purchasing a condo in this area, we recommend visiting AteliersCastelnau.com or giving us a call at 514-900-2290. And don’t forget to visit the Marché Créatif on December 1st at the sales office!
