Summer Equals Festival Fun in Montreal
Come summer time every year, the city of Montreal hosts a wide variety of world-renowned festivals and events. And it all kicks off in the coming weeks. Here are a few of the events that you'll want to mark on your calendar.
Francofolies de Montréal
This summer, Montreal will host the 29th edition of the Francofolies de Montréal. From June 8 to 18, the Quartier des spectacles will welcome famous artists who will immerse you in the very best from the francophone music scene. With the festival’s rich indoor/outdoor program, your evenings are sure to be filled with fun and entertainment. Let’s hope Mother Nature doesn’t steal the show!

Mural
Are you an art lover? And what about street art? If so, you’re sure to love the Mural Festival, running from June 8 to 18 on Saint-Laurent Boulevard. Artistic tours, private shows, exhibits and markets await. Feeling like a beer or a nice meal? The many terraces along Saint-Laurent Boulevard offer outstanding service, all in the very heart of the festival grounds!

Just For Laughs
Montreal’s Just For Laughs Festival is definitely one of the city’s hottest summer events. Once again, this year’s outdoor/indoor program offers festival-goers an exciting experience. From July 15 to 30, discover comedy shows, a wide range of highly diverse culinary offers from an array of Montreal restaurants having cooked up a special menu just for the occasion, and activities for the whole family smack dab in the middle of the Quartier des spectacles. Osheaga
Montreal’s most well-known music festival—Osheaga—is back again this year from August 4 to 6. This three-day celebration of music, running Friday to Sunday evening, is the ultimate event to discover new bands.
