The perks of world-class shopping, old-time specialty shops, along with trendy restos and luxurious spas–all conveniently accessed within our neighbourhood is amenable to our life of work and play.

As we can start our day we can swiftly grab a fresh croissants and a strong Americano from one of the many quaint cafes on our way to the office, easily pick up a few groceries or get take-out from one of the Byward’s many culinary treasures on our way home–all within several blocks from our condo.

Past the shining glass doors of the instantly iconic 23-storey tower, our state of the art virtual concierge welcomes us as we enter our elegant lobby after a long day. Catching the elevator we ascend past the Ottawa Art Gallery and the exquisite Le Germain hotel, reaching the upper portion of the building where ArtHaus sits.

Let us take you through our two-bedroom ‘The Bush’ condominium suite.

As we enter the foyer, to the left is our first bathroom, with a high-end hotel-inspired design. Personalized with chic modern finishes, porcelain tiles and Cabano cabinet storage, we can perfectly primp and pamper at the spacious vanity. As you continue, to the left is access to our second bathroom, attached to our master bedroom suite. Expansive and exquisitely designed, it adds that extra luxury to our master, while acting as an extra washroom during times of entertaining. To the right we have a walk-in closet that is ideally located for hanging out guest’s jackets and keeping all our storage in order–from sports accessories to the season’s outerwear.

Through the bathroom we are led to the walk-in closet and master bedroom suite–which accommodates a queen sized bed as well as a comfortable armchair to relax and take in the views. As we exit the master’s main entranceway, the airy and sun-lit open concept design is showcased in all its beauty. The flow of the dining room, kitchen and living room gives our condo a social atmosphere, and allows us to easily move between the adjoining areas–to check on meals, while entertaining friends and colleagues over a glass of wine. We can seat 4-6 guests easily at our dining area or island bar, and whip up an impressive dinner in our chef-inspired kitchen, with sleek appliances, quartz countertops and matching backsplash.

Just off the living room, which boasts stunning corner views, is our second bedroom–a must-have on our list when searching for the right home. While we don’t have children, a second bedroom offers a stylish and comfortable place for extended family when they visit the capital.

The Bush’s breathtaking Byward views are ours to take in while we sip our Sunday morning coffee from our favourite aspect of our Bush condo–the large private balcony–giving us the perfect getaway from the bustling urban life awaiting us below.
